Dear Friends,

All of you are aware of the facts that Vitiligo is very difficult to treat.
For last Four years I am treating a Vitiligo patch which resistant to Standard Medical treatment with different Photo therapy & Laser with or without medicines and success rate is nearly 90%.
Lasers & Photo therapy is old methods now. I wanted to have a word about Targeted Phototherapy which has worked in almost all patients (98.7%) with certain innovative techniques. This reference is to give an Idea that when all therapy does not work novel treatment works & it is worth trying.
In my next session I will try to post pictures of some patients.

Thanks

Hi,
I am a London based anaesthetist waiting to see my dermatologist about narrow abnd UV phototherapy to treat a few patches of vitiligo around my mouth. They are all associated with trauma (koeberization) caused by shaving. I have subsequently switched to an electric razor. Steroids only had a small effect but I do not wish to use it on my face.
I would be greatful to hear your views.

Nick
